It all started when I was very young, almost forty year ago. I have always enjoyed the brightest colors of the spectrum and their depiction rendered upon film, particularly slide film. Always working to improve my photographic and artistic skills as time went on, I soon combined my love for photography and motorsports and the rest is history, as they say.
Over the years I have cover NASCAR, CART, INDYCAR, NHRA, IMSA, AU-V8 Supercar, WSB, MotoGP, WSC, WRC, F1 and more. But it all really started with bikes, go carts, or what ever was running at Laguna Seca back in the day. Along with numerous state and local pro, semi pro, college and high school sports teams.
Over the years, motorsports photography afforded me the opportunity to collect precision equipment which I now use to refined my art and passion to capture the beauty, the wonders, wildlife and the abundant scenic landscapes of the Monterey Bay Area, California and the west.
Though still covering motorsports and local sporting events for friends, friends of friends, sponsors, manufacturers and local businesses. There's never enough time to stop and really enjoy all of the beauty life offers. When I do get the time, I'm out the door before the sun rises to catch the warm glow of the morning light as it creeps over the mountain tops to illuminate a new day, and maybe a BBQ and a Slurpee™.
